Do you photograph vacation rentals and/or short or long term rentals?
Absolutely. Getting high level photography for your rental property will help it stand out above everything else on the rental market and sites such as AirBnB and VRBO. Many property managers or home owners who put their property on the rental market don't want to go through the trouble or pay the money for professional photography/video services and it's a huge mistake. Everyone is browsing and shopping online these days, and we are all attracted to nice visuals. You'll get a massive return on your investment when you use our services.
How will I get access to the images?
You will receive an email where you can click a link and download a .zip file that will contain all of your images. This is the easiest and most reliable way to send many large files at once. The email will either come from 'WeTransfer', or 'Dropbox'.
Do you touch up all of the photos?
Yes, I individually edit every image for quality and consistency. Editing includes but is not limited to brightness/exposure adjustment, white balance correction, leveling and vertical correction, contrast and color enhancement, minor blemish and artifact removal, lens distortion correction, blue sky and green grass replacement on primary front exterior images, and additionally, a proprietary workflow method that makes each image pop and stand out from other property photography.
Why should I hire a professional photographer for my real estate or architectural project?
Architectural and RE photography is known throughout the industry as one of the most difficult and advanced of all the genre's of photography. As you move through a home or building and photograph different spaces, the ambient/natural lighting from outside combined with the interior artificial lighting of a scene is constantly changing. With every slight move of the camera left, right or angled up, down, this difficult lighting confuses the internal light meter of the camera in a big way. Unless you know how to manage the light and adjust/compensate the brightness levels that your camera captures of a given scene, it would be extremely difficult to render a scene in a natural and appealing way. In addition, how a photographer composes a scene and arranges the elements of it in an artistic and attractive way can help an image be conveyed powerfully. It can be the difference in a potential customer glancing at your home or business for a second or less and leaving, or being intrigued, taking more time with that image, then moving further into your listing or business website.
How far do you travel?
The main service area covers the greater Charlotte area, 50 miles from city center, but I have traveled all over the Carolina's and southern Appalachian area. Travel fee's are reasonable, please let me know and we can come up with pricing that makes sense.
How quickly will I get my photos after the shoot?
The goal for every shoot is to have the final images delivered within 30 hours of the appointment. That said, every project is different, and there are cases where more time will be needed. It's not often, and we will let you know at the time of the shoot if this is the case.
How will I know who will come shoot my home? It's always frustrating when I order listing photos and a photographer I have never worked with shows up.
This can always be a possibility when you decide to go with a larger company. We are a small local business and Clay Townsend is the only person who will photograph your property, every time. He has over a decade of photography experience and has been shooting Real Estate and Architectural photography full time for 7 years. You will get high quality and consistent work on every shoot.
What if weather is bad and the sky is overcast the day of my shoot?
We will do a beautiful blue sky replacement free of charge to the main two or three front exterior images as these will most likely be the first photos seen. The change will look natural and won't even be noticeable by viewers.
